Job Description

A food manufacturing company is recruiting for a Purchasing Coordinator.  This position is located in Colonial Heights, Virginia.  This position will be in office five days a week.  Below is an overview:

Purchasing Coordinator – This position will help the procurement team in the purchasing of all needed items.

Responsibilities:

  • Purchase wide range of raw materials/food ingredients
  • Assist in improving procurement Process
  • Inventory Control/Writing Purchase Orders

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Microsoft office experience
  • Experience in the food industry
  • Purchasing experience
