Job Description

A chemical manufacturing company recruiting for a Sr Procurement Specialist. This position is located near Jackson, Mississippi.  Below is an overview:

 

Sr. Procurement Specialist – Reporting to the Procurement Manager, this position will assist the Procurement Manager in purchasing all materials for the production of the facility.  This position is on-site 5 days a week.

  • Contracting with Vendors
  • Participates in the long-term strategic plan
  • Continuous engagement with the stakeholder
  • Supports compliance to the procurement process

The ideal candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • Experience in a strategic sourcing role
  • Experience sourcing raw materials
