The Operations Manager leads the production department and their efforts in the safe and cost-effective operation. Responsible for facilitating, directing and controlling, as appropriate, all aspects of the production operation to ensure achievement of company goals and objectives. Ensure that the plant is operating in compliance with all regulatory and company policies, procedures, and regulations.

 Duties

  • Plan, organize and direct the Manufacturing department

  • Ensure Production Dept has the appropriate training and coverage. Update training schedule/program to cross train employees

 

Requirements

  • B.S. Chemical or Mechanical Engineering preferred with experience in the chemical industry
  • Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience ideally with 2-3 years of direct leadership/management of plant personnel
  • Strong understanding of KPI’s and delivering results

The key duties and responsibilities of the Quality Control Manager to include:

  • Direct all aspects of Quality Control, including analytical, microbiological, and sensory (organoleptic) testing activities.
