Job Description
Position: 2nd Shift Bilingual (English/Spanish) Production Supervisor
Location: Elk Grove Village, IL
My client, a leading manufacturing company in the building products industry, is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations in a high-volume metal fabrication and roll forming department. The Supervisor will lead a team of 75+ employees, driving safety, quality, and productivity while maintaining compliance with OSHA and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and develop production staff to ensure efficient operations and team performance.
- Manage daily production activities, including machine setup, troubleshooting, and process improvement.
- Enforce safety standards and conduct root cause analysis to resolve production issues.
- Analyze production data to identify opportunities for cost, quality, and efficiency improvements.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet production goals and customer requirements.
- Use Pilot/AS400 and Microsoft Office Suite for reporting, scheduling, and performance tracking.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience (metal fabrication/roll forming preferred).
- Proven leadership of large teams (75+ employees).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with manufacturing machinery.
- Skilled in safety compliance, process optimization, and data analysis.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
Schedule:
- This is a 2nd shift position. Hours are 2pm to 10pm. This is a 24-hour operation with flexibility across shifts; weekend work required during peak season.
