Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This role is responsible for managing and executing the month-end close process across multiple entities and/or business units. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of accounting principles, excels in a fast-paced environment, and can effectively coordinate cross-functional financial activities to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute the month-end close process for multiple entities or business units, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
• Consolidate financial data across entities, including intercompany transactions and eliminations
• Analyze variances and provide clear, actionable explanations to management
• Maintain and improve close processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency and automation
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
• Partner with FP&A, operations, and other departments to support financial reporting and business insights
• Assist with audits by preparing schedules and supporting documentation
• Support implementation and optimization of accounting systems and tools

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including significant involvement in month-end close
• Proven experience managing close processes across multiple entities or business units
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
