Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and oversee audit engagements, including reviewing audit programs and managing time budgets to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Lead and supervise fieldwork for audits, reviews, and compilations.
  • Delegate work effectively while mentoring and developing junior team members.
  • Review workpapers and financial statements prior to submission for management review.
  • Take initiative in resolving complex accounting and auditing issues.
  • Identify opportunities to expand client services and communicate recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Contribute to the firm's operational efficiency by understanding engagement economics and implementing process improvements.
  • Assist with additional responsibilities as needed, including billing, special projects, and agreed-upon procedures for clients.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • CPA license or CPA eligibility (150 credit hours completed by start date)
  • 2+ years of public accounting experience, preferably with a mid-sized or regional firm
  • At least 1 year of experience in a Senior-level role within public accounting
  • Strong commitment to client service with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Reliable transportation for regular travel between client sites and office locations
  • Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills
