Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Auditor to join a growing public accounting firm that offers exposure to sophisticated audit engagements within a collaborative and balanced work environment. This opportunity is ideal for professionals who want to work on complex and meaningful audits while avoiding the structure and demands often associated with larger firms.

The Senior Auditor will be responsible for managing audit engagements from planning through completion while working closely with firm leadership and client teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical audit skills, attention to detail, and the ability to mentor junior staff while maintaining exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead assigned audit engagements from planning through finalization under the direction of firm leadership
  • Identify audit issues, assess risks, and recommend practical solutions
  • Develop and execute audit procedures tailored to engagement risks and objectives
  • Obtain, analyze, and document audit evidence to support findings and conclusions
  • Supervise, mentor, and review the work of junior team members
  • Ensure compliance with applicable professional and auditing standards
  • Communicate effectively with engagement teams and clients to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships while delivering high-quality service
  • Assist with additional projects and responsibilities as needed

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Technology, or related field required
  • Minimum of 3 years of public accounting audit experience
  • CPA license or actively pursuing CPA certification
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Solid understanding of audit methodology and professional standards
  • Experience with GAAS and financial statement preparation preferred
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities with both clients and internal teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and quality
