Job Description

My client, a chemical manufacturing company in the north suburbs of Atlanta, GA is seeking a Buyer to join their dynamic team.

Buyer – reporting to the Sr. Director of Procurement, the Buyer will be responsible for executing set strategies to purchase raw materials and services. This position will manage a $10-20M spend of distribution based chemicals for North America.

  • Assist in drafting negotiations with suppliers
  • Resolve supplier issues
  • Solicit Request for Quotes from suppliers
  • Assist in developing strategies for assigned categories.

The ideal candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Desire to learn high level strategic sourcing
  • Buying experience – at least internship
  • Highly career minded and self driven
