The Catalysis Leader will have the following responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop routes to fuels and valuable chemicals from basic (primary) chemicals produced via fermentation of renewable (sustainable) feedstocks
  • Maintain technical leadership in this area via monitoring literature and networking
  • Identify and solve technical problems/issues which arise along the commercialization path
  • Work with teams to move to chosen projects from inception through research, development, development and demonstration
  • Interface with customers during R&D, demonstration, and commercialization phases

Requirements:

  • PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or other related area
  • Minimum 15 years industrial experience in fuels and chemicals production
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Willingness to travel on a global scale
