Chemical Quality Engineer
Job Description
Our client is a large 24/7 non-union chemical manufacturing facility and they are hiring a Chemical Engineer with process experience to be a key member of the chemical quality program. This facility offers room for growth and advancement. Candidates with Chemical Engineering degrees only will be considered.

As the Chemical Quality Engineer, job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Understanding the manufacturing process
- Lead team in driving improvements
- Identify issues that will impact the quality of the product
- Develop plans to remediate the issues causing negative results
- Lead preventive action plans
- Monitor and analyze product data
- Provide hands-on involvement
- Maintain quality reporting and ensure accurate documentation
- Lead internal audits and supplier quality
- Champion plant safety
Salary Range: $110,000 - $135,000 plus bonus potential

Job Requirements
- BS Chemical Engineer - this is the only degree that will be considered
- 7 -10 years of chemical manufacturing experience
- Process Engineering experience and quality experience (does not need to have been in a quality dedicated role)
- Knowledge of ISO 9001
- Any experience with automotive quality standards is a plus, not a must have
- Minitab or equivalent
- Strong safety record
