Coil Coating Manager, 1st Shift
Location: Elk Grove Village
Reports To: Director of Manufacturing
Summary
The Coil Coating Manager oversees daily coil coating operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. This role leads production teams, drives continuous improvement, and ensures compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day coil coating operations, staffing, and production schedules for all 3 shifts
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality requirements
- Drive quality, productivity, and cost performance metrics
- Lead and develop supervisors and production teams
- Partner with maintenance, quality, and supply chain to support reliable operations
- Support process improvements and new product trials
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in coil coating or metal manufacturing
- Previous leadership experience in a production environment
- Strong knowledge of coating processes and quality standards
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
