Job Description:
We are seeking a diligent and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, ensuring client satisfaction, and supporting the growth of our business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for a designated portfolio of commercial insurance clients.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and exceptional service.
- Review insurance policies and coverage options to provide appropriate recommendations to clients.
- Process policy endorsements, renewals, and cancellations accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with underwriters and insurance carriers to negotiate terms, pricing, and coverage for clients.
- Handle client inquiries, claims, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Conduct regular account reviews to ensure client needs are met and identify opportunities for account growth.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices to effectively advise clients.
- Prepare reports and documentation for clients and internal stakeholders as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Commercial Lines Account Manager or similar role in the insurance industry.
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverage options, and underwriting processes.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and insurance management software.
- Property and Casualty license for IL
