Job Description
We are working with a leading Digital Ink development company in South Carolina. They are seeking an experienced digital inkjet formulations chemist. Must be U.S. Citizen or Resident. The focus of this role will be to improve existing products and innovate/expand their offerings. The exciting part about this role is that you get to work on customized offerings and interact with customers to perfect their printing process. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Digital Inkjet Chemist will be a full-time member of the R&D solutions team. The role will work closely with other members of the team to grow a profitable business while adhering to high standards of quality and business ethics.
• Conceptualize, formulate, develop and introduce new digital inkjet solutions.
• Evaluate and re-formulate (as necessary) existing digital inkjet products.
• Work with Manufacturing on the process modification and improvements.
• Establish quality control specifications for new and modified products.
• Support customer product trials and/or evaluations to address customer related product performance issues.
• Evaluate raw materials to ensure the use of new, innovative, and cost effective raw materials.

Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelors’ degree in Chemistry of Chemical Engineering, advanced degree preferred.
• Three years’ experience developing digital inkjet fluids with a stable work history (experience with Piezo & Thermal printhead, dispersion and primer technology a plus)
• Deep interest in digital technology and natural curiosity
• Competitive drive, strong personal accountability and sense of urgency
• Travel when needed: 10%
