ESOP Administrator (Boutique Firm) - Remote
Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented ESOP Administrator to join our boutique firm and contribute to the success of our clients' Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs). As an ESOP Administrator with us, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate plan administration, compliance, and participant communication. Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of ESOP clients, establishing and maintaining strong relationships.
- Perform day-to-day administration of ESOPs, including participant recordkeeping, contribution processing, and distribution calculations.
- Coordinate annual plan valuations, working closely with valuation experts and external partners to ensure accurate and timely valuations.
- Prepare and review participant statements, summary plan descriptions, and required government filings (Form 5500, Form 8955-SSA, etc.).
- Collaborate with clients to provide guidance on plan compliance, regulatory changes, and best practices related to ESOP administration.
- Communicate effectively with plan participants, addressing inquiries and providing assistance with their ESOP accounts.
- Maintain thorough documentation of all plan administration activities and interactions with clients.
- Stay informed about industry trends, legislative updates, and ESOP-specific regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Assist in the preparation of client presentations, training sessions, and employee communications related to ESOPs.
- Participate in the development and improvement of internal processes to enhance the efficiency of ESOP administration services.

Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., QKA, QPA, CEBS) considered a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in ESOP administration or similar retirement plan administration role.
- Strong understanding of ESOP regulations, ERISA compliance, and IRS/DOL reporting requirements.
- Proficiency in retirement plan administration software and tools, with experience in ASC or Relius Administration preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, demonstrating a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Passion for client service and the ability to build and maintain positive client relationships.
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Compensation: Competitive salary of up to $130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
