Responsibilities for the Electrical Engineer include:

· Providing technical support for the plant electrical and instrumentation systems

· Developing electrical and instrumentation designs for projects

· Creating capital and expense budges for electrical system reliability projects

· Managing Capital projects related to electrical infrastructure

 

Job Requirements

Requirements for the Electrical Engineer include:

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years of relevant experience

·         Experience within a chemical processing, refining, or heavy industrial environment

·         Strong understanding of electrical and instrumentation reliability, troubleshooting, and design

·         Knowledgeable in medium voltage (5-15kV) and low voltage electrical equipment

·         Understanding of industry codes and standards including NFPA, API, IEEE, NEMA, UL, ANSI
