Employee Benefits Compliance Attorney
Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid)
Salary: Up to $250,000 + Full Benefits
Join a well-established team advising clients on complex employee benefits and ERISA matters. We are seeking an experienced attorney with a strong background in multi-employer benefit plans to provide legal guidance on compliance, plan administration, and regulatory matters.
Responsibilities:
- dvise clients on ERISA, employee benefits, and compliance matters.
- Counsel multiemployer pension and welfare plans on legal and regulatory issues.
- Review and draft plan documents, amendments, and related legal agreements.
- Ensure compliance with IRS, DOL, and applicable federal regulations.
- Partner with clients on plan governance, fiduciary responsibilities, and ongoing legal support.
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar admission.
- Significant experience with multi-employer employee benefit plans.
- Strong knowledge of ERISA, IRS, and Department of Labor regulations.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and drafting skills.
