Job Description
Our client is a global manufacturer of coatings, laminates, tapes, and other specialty adhesives used in different industries. They are in search of an Engineering Manager with small scale experience for their site in the Baltimore, MD area. This is an opportunity to have an impact through innovation and engineering.
Process Engineering Manager/Chemical Engineer/Mechanical Engineer/Chemistry/Adhesives/Laminates/Tape/Coatings/Scale Up/R&D/Commercialization/Engineering Manager/Chemical Manufacturing
As the Engineering Manager responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Manage and lead Process Engineering group
- Drive new product development and commercialization
- Manage product development projects
- Lead product and process improvement initiatives
- Assist in R&D strategies and planning
- Interface with customers on new product requests
Salary Range: $130,000/year - $140,000/year

Job Requirements
As the Engineering Manager job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
- BS in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemistry
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in chemical manufacturing
- Experience from small scale-up lab through full scale commercialization – must have small scale experience – lab/pilot plant
- Must have previous leadership or management experience
- Previous experience in adhesives is ideal
