Our client is a manufacturer of specialty engineering materials used in multiple different industries. They currently seek an Engineering Manager for their plant in the PNW. The ideal candidate should enjoy being out in the plant and getting involved in the technical aspects of the process like assisting with troubleshooting when needed. This position has strong potential for promotion in the future into Plant Management!

As an Engineering Manager job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Lead operations and process improvements with technical expertise
• Plan, organize & direct the Manufacturing department
• Maintain capital and maintenance budgets
• Work with team leaders to develop/implement plans to efficiently use materials, labor & equipment to meet production targets
• Achieve project objectives within agreed time, cost, & quality parameters

Salary Range: $120,000 - $130,000 plus 15% yearly bonus AND $10,000 sign on bonus!

As an Engineering Manager job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

• BS in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering 
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment (chemicals, petrochemicals, specialty chemicals)
• Strong maintenance background
• Must have knowledge of or experience with PSM  
• Experience managing small capital projects
