Engineering Manager
Job Description
A global chemical manufacturing company has an opening for an Engineering Manager at their 150-person facility in the northern suburbs of Chicago. This Engineering Manager will manage the Capex budget and oversee capital projects, as well as maintenance. This person will work closely with HSE and CI. Leadership experience is a key to this hire.

As the Engineering Manager, responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Managing a capex budget of $3M-$6M and a maintenance budget
- Oversee all capital projects onsite
- Stay informed of and support all SHE standards and regulations
- Provide technical expertise for projects
- Provide leadership and guidance to team
Salary: $120,000 - $145K + 15% bonus potential

Job Requirements
Requirements include, but are not limited to:
- BS Engineering – Chemical, Industrial, maybe others
- 7-10 years of manufacturing experience, with people management experience
- Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM) regulations is a plus
- Class 1, Division 1 experience is a plus
- Batch process experience is preferred
- Liquids processing is also a plus; powder processing is also relevant
- Experience with risk assessments and regulatory compliance
