Environmental Lead/EHS Specialist/EHS/Environmental/ Chemicals/Chemical Manufacturing/PSM/Engineer/Engineering/PSM/EHS Generalist/Chemical Engineer/Specialty Chemicals/Title V/Air Permitting/Chemistry/Biology/Environmental Science/Physics

As the Environmental Manager job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Ensure environmental compliance with all company, Federal, State, and local regulations
  • Oversee site’s air, water, and waste regulations; including permitting
  • Test, track, and document environmental related information; report information to governmental agencies
  • Manage site’s environmental budget
  • Lead site's community involvement

Job Requirements

As the Environmental Manager job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, environmental sciences, biology, chemistry, physics, or another related field  
  • 10+ years of environmental regulatory experience out of chemical, petro-chemical, or petroleum manufacturing
  • Must have previous supervision experience
  • Extensive knowledge of/experience with environmental compliance and permitting
  • Familiarity with current safety and environmental standards, rules, and regulations
  • Familiarity with hazardous waste regulations
