Environmental Specialist/Environmental Lead/Refining/Refinery/EHS Specialist/EHS/Environmental/ Chemicals/EHS/Chemical Manufacturing/PSM/Engineer/Engineering/PSM/EHS Generalist/Chemical Engineer/Specialty Chemicals/Title V/Air Permitting/Chemistry/Biology/Environmental Science/Physics

As the Environmental Specialist job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Ensure environmental compliance with company, Federal, State, and local regulations
  • Oversee hazardous waste removal projects
  • Lead and manage risk management program
  • Interface with internal and external departments/agencies for compliance efforts
  • Conduct site trainings as needed

Salary Range: $100,000/year - $110,000/year

Job Requirements

As the Environmental Specialist job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, environmental sciences, or another related field  
  • 3+ years of environmental regulatory experience out of a refining, petrochemicals, chemical manufacturing, or another relevant industry
  • Previous experience with GHG Emissions, Leak Detection and Repairs, Title V Air Reporting, and environmental compliance
