Fixed Income, Junior Research Analyst

  • Bachelor Degree with 3-5 years relevant work experience
  • Detailed understanding of concepts such as: 
    • How credit and interest rate exposures are modified with changes in market conditions
    • Liability cash flows and how to structure a bond portfolio to mirror cash flow profile
    • Derivative instruments that are often in long duration portfolios, such as swaps, futures, strips

Fixed Income, Junior Research Analyst

 

  • 3+ years experience maintaining coverage of assigned asset classes. This position will cover FIXED INCOME investment managers.
  • Maintain coverage of assigned investment managers, including meetings and calls with portfolio managers and investment organizations, as well as use of databases to analyze quantitative and portfolio data.
  • Produce written research papers pertaining to investment trends and manager analysis.
  • Strong attention to detail (IMPORTANT!).
  • Ability to catch errors and meet deadlines. 
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Strong investment manager due diligence experience!!!
