Job Overview:
The Food & Beverage Quality Auditor will be responsible for evaluating applications, conducting technical assessments, and performing audits to ensure products, ingredients, and production processes comply with Halal certification standards. This role requires a strong background in food science, auditing, and regulatory compliance to provide technical guidance and maintain industry-leading standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Application & Document Review: Assess applications, raw materials, and ingredient certification requests for Halal compliance.
- Technical Assessments: Conduct in-depth evaluation of client submissions, ensuring adherence to Halal standards and regulatory requirements.
- Audit Execution: Plan, organize, and conduct on-site audits of production facilities to verify Halal compliance.
- Data Collection & Reporting: Gather information through interviews, observations, and document reviews, compiling detailed audit reports.
- Compliance Monitoring: Evaluate factors that impact audit findings and ensure accuracy, reliability, and confidentiality in reporting.
- Collaboration & Guidance: Provide recommendations to clients, maintain clear communication, and support cross-functional teams in Halal compliance.
- Halal Portal Management: Contribute to a comprehensive ingredient database, categorizing materials and managing updates.
- Schedule H Oversight: Review and maintain Schedule H documentation, ensuring accurate data collection and formatting for client records.
- Training & Supervision: Oversee and support fellow auditors, ensuring compliance with best practices in Halal certification.

Job Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Industrial/Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy (Pharm D), or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Halal certification, food industry auditing, quality management, or regulatory compliance.
- Strong knowledge of Islamic dietary laws, Halal standards, and regulatory guidelines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software tools for auditing and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to work under pressure.
- Experience in team leadership, supervision, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Training in food safety and quality (preferred).
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
