Our client is an innovative and fast-growing start-up food manufacturer. They currently seek an R&D Process Engineer to join their state-of-the-art facility in the greater Lafayette area. The ideal candidate will have previous food manufacturing experience, enjoy hands-on work, and is ready to learn and grow with this award winning company!

As a Food Process Engineer job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Assist in the research and development of new products and processes
- Lead product from pilot scale to scale up
- Identify areas of process optimization and new technologies
- Collect, analyze, and document product/process data
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting
- Be a part of site project work
Salary Range: $130,000/year - $135,000/year

Job Requirements
As a Food Process Engineer job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
- BS in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Food Sciences, Food Process Engineering, or another relevant degree
- 3+ years of hands-on engineering experience out of food manufacturing
- Must have previous continuous improvement and process optimization experience
- Previous experience in an R&D environment
