Group Benefits Producer opening!
We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, results-oriented Employee Benefits Producer with at least 5 years of sales experience. Our new associate will be responsible for new business development and growing a book of group employee benefits accounts. We provide high level account management and sales / service support, as well as an excellent compensation and benefit package to our Producers.
Hybrid Remote – Gaithersburg, MD
Base salary of $50K-$60K plus commission and renewals. Full benefits including unlimited paid vacation, medical, dental, vision, and 401k with matching.

Job Requirements
- MD Life, Health, and Disability insurance license required
- Minimum of five (5) years of sales experience
- A solid understanding of Employee Benefits Group Insurance products and services
- Ability to assess the risk exposures and benefit needs of various types of organizations to generate appropriate strategies and solutions for them
- Proven track record of group benefit sales experience
- Effective at maintaining and building solid relationships with insurance markets and benefit providers to ensure proper service and solutions are rendered to our accounts
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good problem-solving and active listening skills.
- Highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic who is energized by the prospect of identifying prospective clients and closing new business.
- Ability to function well in a team environment.
