HR Manager - Manufacturing
Job Description
- Human Resources Management:
- Oversee day-to-day HR operations, including staffing, recruitment, and onboarding of new hires.
- Facilitate orientation and training programs to ensure new employees are effectively integrated.
- Align company policies and procedures with best practices and organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with HR leads at various locations to address and resolve local HR matters.
- Culture and Leadership Development:
- Partner with executive leadership to promote and embed the company’s culture, Vision, and Values, known as the RITE WAY (Respect, Integrity, Teamwork, Excellence).
- Drive initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction and reduce turnover.
- Engage with both top-level executives and local management to reinforce cultural values and leadership principles.
- Benefits Administration:
- Manage and optimize the company’s benefits program in collaboration with the Benefits Administrator (Debbie).
- Coordinate daily benefits operations and negotiate with benefits providers to ensure competitive and comprehensive benefits offerings.
- Health & Wellness Initiatives:
- Lead corporate Health & Wellness programs, including the monthly Champion call to review initiatives and progress.
- Drive wellness challenges and programs, such as the “Biggest Loser” challenge, to foster a healthy work environment.
- Safety Program Oversight:
- Oversee the corporate safety program, working closely with the Corporate Safety Director.
- Manage Workers' Compensation claims and collaborate with the Captive Insurance Group to ensure effective risk management.
- Additional Program Development:
- Potentially lead the development and roll-out of new HR programs such as:
- Employee Review Process
- Employee Recognition Program
- Electronic On-boarding

Job Requirements
- Proven experience in human resources management, with a strong understanding of HR policies, practices, and compliance as it pertains to a manufacturing setting.
- Multi-site HR Management experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement cultural and leadership initiatives.
- Experience in benefits administration and negotiations.
- Strong skills in health and wellness program management.
- Knowledge of safety programs, Workers' Compensation, and risk management.
