Our client is a global producer of specialty coatings and adhesives. They are in search of an experienced Health and Safety Manager to elevate their current Health and Safety programs at their facility outside of Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong safety background and the desire to build relationships by being hands-on on the plant floor.

As the Health & Safety Manager job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Effectively control accident and risk exposures by investigation and analysis
• Ensure full compliance with federal, state, local and corporate health and safety standards
• Develop, implement, and manage a health and safety system
• Audit manufacturing processes and make recommendations for process safety
• Responsible for site safety training and coaching of employees on safe work behaviors

As the Health & Safety Manager job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Engineering, or another relevant field
• 6+ years of direct experience in a Safety position at a chemical manufacturing facility
• Experience in a PSM regulated facility
• Flexibility to travel to other sites as needed
