Health and Safety Specialist/EHS Specialist/Environmental, Health, and Safety Specialist/Chemical Engineer/Chemical Manufacturing/Chemicals/EHS/EHS Manager/Safety Manager/Engineering/Industrial Safety/Natural Sciences
As the Health & Safety Specialist job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Site safety training and coaching of employees on safe work behaviors
- Collaborate with other departments on process improvements for site safety
- Ensure compliance of regulatory programs and safety procedures
- Manage site’s PSM program
- Drive safety risk assessment and develop/implement appropriate corrective actions
- Manage site’s permitting and auditing and keep all documentation up-to-date

Job Requirements
As the Health & Safety Specialist job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Safety, or Natural Sciences
- 3-5 years of safety experience in a manufacturing setting, chemicals preferred
- Extensive knowledge of safety regulations and policies
- Previous experience working in a PSM regulated facility
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
