Our client is a leader in food and beverage manufacturing. They are currently looking to add a Improvement Engineer to their manufacturing facility in North Carolina. This person will be tasked with establishing the Lean Manufacturing program at this site. This position offers the opportunity to impact the future of this plant!
As an Improvement Engineer job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Create and establish Lean Operating System for site
- Identify areas of improvement and implement change to optimize processes, product quality, and efficiency
- Coach others on Lean Manufacturing methodologies
- Manage program objectives and prioritize improvements
Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000 + bonus

Job Requirements
As an Improvement Engineer job requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:
- BS in any Engineering discipline
- 2+ years of continuous improvement experience in a manufacturing facility
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies
- Proven track record of successful continuous improvement work
