Ingredient Consultant / Sales Account Manager – NE Territory
The Ingredient Consultant is responsible for profitable growth & business expansion. The ideal candidate will be based in the heart of the NE Territory.
Essential Tasks of the Position:
- Developing and implementing sales plans for territory
- Documenting sales activities and performance
- Providing customer quotations
- Sales contract reviews
- Professional interaction with multiple contacts throughout the customer landscape including, but not limited to, R&D, Product Development, Marketing, Procurement, Management, and Corporate Executives
- Performs duties and tasks as described in company policies, procedures and work instructions
- Any other task assigned by management or special projects
- The outline of duties is not arranged in order of priority. These duties are not meant to restrict initiative, but rather to describe baseline activities. These duties will from time to time be altered to suit the needs of the company. We are a tobacco free, professional environment

Job Requirements
Technical Qualifications:
- BS Science or related. Will consider non science degree if candidate has the direct sales experience in B2B solution ingredient sales partnering with R&D teams in the food companies
- Candidates MUST have prior experience selling ingredients and/or flavors to R&D partners to food and beverage manufacturing companies
- Experience calling on R&D contacts is a must and understanding the technical sale is key
- Key application areas are bakery, snacks, bars, confections, dairy, beverages; sweet categories
