Job Description
I am currently working with a chemical manufacturing company near Lubbock, Texas recruiting for an Inventory Planning Manager to join their dynamic team. Below is an overview:
Inventory Planning Manager - Reporting to the Plant Manager, this position will be responsible for managing raw material inventory. This position will also have one direct report with potential to add to their team in the future.
- Responsible for Inventory Accuracy – inventory control, cycle counts and internal audits
- Work cross functionally with procurement, scheduling and other areas
- Participate in ERP system implementation
- Team lead of one Supply Chain Specialist

Job Requirements
The ideal candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required
- Supply chain experience – Chemical manufacturing experience preferred
- Proven leadership skills
- Working knowledge of ERP systems – implementation experience is a plus
