Regulatory Affairs Analyst
The Regulatory Affairs (RA) Analyst is responsible for ensuring compliance of raw material documentation, finished product documentation, and finished product packaging with internal specifications and external regulatory requirements. The RA Analyst will work closely with raw materials suppliers to ensure required documentation is current, complete, and to company’s standards. The RA Analyst will assist Regulatory management with projects and activities initiated within the company.
Function and this role include, but not limited to:
- Ensure regulatory compliance of product nutritional and ingredient information, including ingredient and allergen list, nutrition supplement facts panel, net weight, and claims.
- Review product packaging and other assets for compliance with applicable regulations, guidelines, and company specifications.
- Work with raw materials suppliers to gather documentation and qualify raw materials for inclusion in new or existing products.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure current and newly implemented procedures are being followed.
- Assist the Regulatory Affairs Manager with compliance-related inquiries and certifications as needed.
- Research validation and relevance of current and potential new claims when formulations are developed or modified.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders on current and future software systems that influence or impact Regulatory work activities.
- Develop SOPs and new policies with the collective Regulatory and H&W Collective teams as necessary.
- Stay up to date with current and emerging regulatory policies and their impact on our products.
- Support the department with other projects as required.
Salary
$70,000 - $85,000 + 10% Bonus

Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Regulatory Science, Food Science / Technology, Nutrition, or related scientific field required.
- 2-5 years of relevant regulatory experience in the food / supplement industry required.
- Strong understanding of FDA regulations; Canadian or other international regulation knowledge preferred.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
