Location: Naperville, IL
I am working with a progressive Logistics company recruiting for a Logistics Director to join their dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to manage and build out a full Freight Brokerage department. The position is located near Naperville, IL.
Logistics Director - Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this position will focus on the development of the department as well as maintaining relationships with new and existing carriers. Below is an overview:
- Develop and implement department processes and procedures
- Work cross-functionally
- Conduct Freight RFP’s on a larger scale
- Contract negotiations
- Build out department

Job Requirements
The ideal candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Background in Freight Brokerage
- Extensive knowledge in Transportation
- Carrier management experience
