Job Description
The Maintenance Manager reports to the Plant Manager and leads plant engineering, maintenance operations, and maintenance budget. Key duties include managing mechanical, electrical, and DCS systems, overseeing budgets, and directing staff to meet safety and performance goals.
Directs the maintenance team and sets high performance standards.
- Oversees outside contractors and the contractor safety program.
- Manages daily maintenance tasks to solve plant and quality issues fast.
- Builds and improves the CMMS system using asset hierarchies.
- Runs preventive and predictive maintenance programs to meet safety and ISO rules.
- Tracks equipment health with site leaders to improve plant uptime.
- Plans and controls capital and maintenance budgets.
- Delivers capital projects on time and within cost limits.
- Manages site utilities like boilers, heaters, and fire systems safely and cheaply.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent work experience).
- 5+ years of plant-level maintenance management experience.
- Background in industrial plant settings and budget management.
- Strong safety experience
- Proven track record of leading continuous improvement initiatives in a team setting.
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with little daily oversight.
