Mechanical Reliability Engineer Job Summary

An excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Reliability Engineer has become available in Pensacola, FL. Our client is a leading chemical manufacturer with locations around the world. Our client offers great benefits and is looking for someone that wants to grow within the organization.

As the Mechanical Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Using Root Cause Analysis to determine failures of both fixed and rotating equipment
  • Recommending and overseeing solutions to eliminate or reduce equipment failures
  • Developing and maintaining inspection plants
  • Directing the site Preventing and Predictive Maintenance programs
  • Implementing maintenance-driven capital projects

We are looking for a Mechanical Reliability Engineer with experience working in a chemical, refinery or heavy industry environment.

Specific requirements for the Mechanical Reliability Engineer include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • At least 3 years of experience in chemical or heavy industry environment
  • Root Cause Analysis
  • Experience working with both fixed and rotating equipment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation skills, and interpersonal skills
