New Business Development – Sales Account Manager – Adhesives

This is an exceptional opportunity for a Sales person with a strong knowledge of finished formulated adhesive raw materials to help grow a brand new line of products.  Products finished formulated adhesive raw materials to help grow a brand new line of products.  Products are ready for commercialization, and more in the pipeline.  This is an established company with an excellent reputation, and they are expanding product lines into new markets.  Come and make a significant impact and a new home for the future!

Primary responsibility of the NBD Sales Account Manager is to drive top line growth (volume) by prospecting for new opportunities with Adhesive Manufacturers.  Key to being successful as a Seller is to ‘create value’ and to continually bring on new business through product demonstrations and trials so all sales goals are met or exceeded.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • From a seller perspective, manage all aspects of new business development and sales activities to growth is maximized. 40%
  • Create value by interfacing and presenting novel new products with key decision makers and new customers in order to fully maximize sales and supporting internal R&D efforts in providing key feedback on product performance and applications. 35%
  • Develop and implement sales related actions (account planning, account forecasting, account strategy/tactic formation, etc.). 10%
  • Develop and implement ‘Action Plans’ to maximize volume / profitability (examples: price increase, new business development campaign, volume push, etc.) 10%
  • Complete all tasks related to the sales function in a timely manner (forecast reports, sales call reports, monthly reports, expense reports, etc.) 5%

Salary

$120,000 - $140,000

Job Requirements

Education & Experience:

BS Science degree, or Business with strong understanding of raw materials used in formulated adhesives across a variety of adhesives platforms.  Able to connect with and get face to face meetings with Adhesives manufacturers to present new technologies, build relationships, provide samples and follow-up through trials to close sales.  A minimum of 5-10 years preferred.  May also consider a retiree, or part time role for the right person.
