PD Scientist
This is a key role within the R&D team for a research forward market leading dairy manufacturer. In addition to having a background in cultured dairy, you will be guiding long-term development projects and Jr. developers through the formulation of new products as well as reformulating current offerings.

Job Requirements
Education:
- M.S., PhD preferred with 7+ years’ experience or B.S. with 10+ years’ experience in cultured dairy development
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Expert knowledge in area of Food Science, Dairy Chemistry
- Proficient in experimental design with attention to detail and impeccable organization
- Knowledge of Laboratory, Pilot Plant, and manufacturing facility processes and procedures
- Proven ability to lead long-term projects and jr. developers from ideation through commercialization
- Good Laboratory research skills
- Able to generate ideas, test their effectiveness and decide on a plan of action
- Able to demonstrate professional, verbal, and written communication
- Able to follow written and oral instruction and able to lead through written and oral methods
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Able to communicate with various departments including Customers, Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Quality Assurance, Operations and Product Development in a professional manner
