Our client is an innovative renewable energy company that utilizes proprietary technology to create fuels and chemicals. They are building plants throughout the world and are currently seek an operations commissioning and start-up manager to be responsible for the commissioning and start-up of those manufacturing plants. This position is based in the western suburbs of Chicago but may be a remote position.

 

Salary Range: $175,000/year - $210,000/year

Job Requirements

This position requires a degree in Chemical Engineering degree. No other degrees will be considered. It also requires a minimum of 5 years of post-graduate process or production engineering experience in a continuous chemical manufacturing process. Must have experience in biofuels, ethanol, refining, or other petrochemicals. The ideal candidate will have experience leading cross-functional teams and be able to travel 50% internationally. Any previous plant commissioning or start-up experience is a big plus.
