Plant Engineer/Production Engineer/Process Engineer/Chemical Engineer/Mechanical Engineer/Engineering/Manufacturing/Chemicals/Chemical Manufacturing/Engineer/PSM/Production Engineer/Resins/Coatings/Paper Manufacturing/Plant Engineer/Continuous Improvement Engineer

Our client is a global manufacturer of a wide range of chemistry-based products used in multiple different markets. The ideal candidate will be a positive, hands-on experience as a Process Production Engineer. This position can lead to promotion opportunities at other company facilities across the country! 

As a Plant Engineer job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Be a part of a team of Process Engineers
  • Utilize Root-Cause analysis and statistical analysis
  • Interact cross-functionally to continuously optimize production
  • Be site expert in Chemical Engineering and Unit Operations
  • Plan and manage various process improvement projects

Job Requirements

As a Plant Engineer job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

  • BS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering 
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing facility; chemicals preferred but will consider many different backgrounds including pulp and paper, resins, coatings, etc. 
  • Must have experience in process and/or production engineering
  • Previous experience in a PSM-regulated facility is ideal 
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies and Lean tools ideal
