Plant HR Manager - Manufacturing
Job Description
- Collaborate with managers to design and implement employee development plans, particularly focusing on high potential individuals.
- Identify and propose strategies to engage and elevate employees through recognition, involvement in meaningful activities, and challenging assignments.
- Articulate and advocate for the values and cultural ethos of the organization, suggesting HR initiatives that align with and reinforce the organizational culture.
- Oversee affirmative action programs and manage various employee relations initiatives.
- Actively contribute as a key member of the site's top leadership team, strategizing and executing programs that address human resource needs aligned with short and long-term business objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate staff, conducting performance evaluations, fostering skill development, supporting professional growth, and empowering employees to maximize their impact within the department.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Labor/Industrial Relations, Business Management, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably within industrial and manufacturing environments, with a preference for experience in process or chemical plant settings.
- Expertise in HR compliance and employment law, along with proficiency in succession planning, employee retention, organizational capacity enhancement, leadership development, performance management, team building, and employee relations.
- Demonstrated capability in coaching and developing HR staff, fostering cohesive and engaged teams.
- Prior experience in an OFCCP regulated environment is highly desirable.
- Flexibility and willingness to relocate to various locations within the United States as required.
