Job Description
Our client is a global producer of specialty chemical products and a world leader in the production of polymers. They currently seek a Plant Manager to help maximize efficiency at their facility in Hattiesburg, MS.

As a Plant Manger job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Plan, organize & direct the production operations of the facility
- Work with team leaders to optimize company performance
- Ensure all local, state, federal, and company regulations, policies, and objectives are met
- Identify/resolve safety concerns or issues, including accident/incident reporting, investigation & resolution
- Ensure quality of manufacturing, including cost control
Salary Range: $180,000/year - $185,000/year plus 18% yearly bonus and $1,000/month car allowance

Job Requirements
As a Plant Manager job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
- BS in Chemical Engineering
- 15+ years of experience in a chemical manufacturing environment
- Must have at least 7 years of operations supervision/leadership experience
- Must have experience in a PSM environment
- Experience improving plant operations
- Desire to more into a higher-level position
- Knowledge of Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing methodologies is ideal
