Polyurethane Sales Manager
Mid-size chemical organization looking for a Sales Manager who has sold raw materials to chemical manufacturers. If you have sold raw materials to a chemical manufacturer and are familiar with polyurethanes, this could be a great opportunity for you! This company offers benefits and is growing rapidly!
Duties:
- Increase sales, market shares, and (or) profitability of urethane products to new and existing accounts
- Ability to build successful relationships with account to develop business
- Able to analyze profitability of current and new business situations, recommend and implement appropriate account strategies
- Negotiates sales contracts to new and existing accounts to secure sales volumes when appropriate
- Aids in coordinating efforts of Coatings & Specialties technical service personnel
- Provides commercial support to distributor sales personnel
- Provides timely appropriate feedback and reporting on customer requirements, market developments, product forecasts, and pricing trends
- Maintains and builds market information on industry trends with respect to polyurethanes and polyester in the Coatings, Adhesives, and Sealants segments
- Willing and able to perform additional sales or marketing studies for other company product groups as requested
- Participates in all safety related activities and meetings. Maintains a safe work environment
- Performs above-mentioned responsibilities safely, ethically and in compliance with all federal and state regulations

Job Requirements
Technical Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred with business, chemistry, or chemical engineering focus
- At least 2 years of sales experience, preferably raw materials, for polyurethane-CASE
- Must be able to travel 40-50% in order to accomplish above mentioned objectives
