Job Description
Process Chemist
The Process Chemist will have the following duties and responsibilities:
- Monitor, test, and optimize aluminum paste and powder production processes.
- Analyze in-process samples, adjust formulations, troubleshoot production issues, and maintain lab equipment to ensure product quality
- Role involves working with production teams, managing 5S, and supporting continuous improvement
- The schedule for this position is a rotating schedule of 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next week, 12-hour shifts. 2 weeks on day shift and 2 weeks on night shift
Salary
$56,000 - $62,000

Technical Qualifications:
- BS in Chemistry or related
- Prior metal powder handling and processing experience
- Metal powder screening, classification and atomization experience
- Powder characterization including but not limited to Particle Size, Surface Area Analysis, Flow Rate, etc.
- Product scale up experience from lab/pilot to production scale
- Able to read P&ID
- Experienced in Design of Experiments and related techniques
