Our client is a specialty chemical manufacturer with customers around the world. They currently seek a Process Controls Engineer to add to their team outside of Houston, TX. This engineer will be responsible for developing and providing technical support for the site’s control systems.

As a Process Controls Engineer job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Develop, improve, and manage site’s control systems
  • Implement new hardware control systems
  • Provide daily troubleshooting
  • Identify areas for improved efficiencies and implement changes
  • Ensure compliance of all legal, environmental, safety, and company policies  

Salary Range: $97,000 - $125,000 based on experience

Job Requirements

As a Process Controls Engineer job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

  • BS in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Automation Engineering, or other relevant degree
  • 2+ years of previous DCS systems experience
  • Previous experience in chemicals, petrochemicals, or manufacturing
