Our client is a specialty chemical manufacturer with products with many applications. They are currently looking for a hands-on Process Development Engineer for their facility in the Southwest suburbs, roughly 90 miles from Chicago. This position can be at a Junior or Senior level and salary will depend on experience.
As the Process Development Engineer responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Work cross-functionally to develop new or improvements to processes
- Lead process development projects and implement site capital projects
- Organize and lead laboratory research and analysis
- Adhere to all site EHS standards and practices
Salary Range: $100,000/year - $150,000/year +15-30% bonus

Job Requirements
As the Process Development Engineer requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:
- BS Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in chemical process development
- Experience in a chemical manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of general laboratory procedures and instrumentation
