Process Engineer/Production Engineer/Engineer/Chemical Engineer/Chemicals/Chemical Manufacturing/PSM

Our client company is global leader within the chemicals and performance materials industries. They have more than twenty manufacturing plants within the continental United States and are currently seeking a Process Engineer to be based at a manufacturing plant in the Houston/Oakland/Chicago/Baton Rouge area. This person will be responsible for daily production operations and process improvements. It is a growth position that can lead to larger opportunities at any of their many facilities across the country.

Salary Range: $80,000/year - $95,000/year

Job Requirements

This position requires a degree in chemical engineering. NO OTHER DEGREES WILL BE CONSIDERED. It also requires a minimum of one year of post-graduate experience in a chemical manufacturing plant. Experience with batch or continuous processes is strongly preferred. Experience with hands-on work is also required. This includes but is not limited to firefighting/troubleshooting, process improvements, process optimization, root cause analysis, and process safety management.
