Our client is an innovative renewable energy company that utilizes proprietary technology to create fuels and chemicals. They currently seek a hands-on Process Engineer to assist with evaluating future plant designs, support future process design and construction of commercial plants. This role can be hybrid with monthly travel to their facility in the greater Chicagoland area.

Salary Range: $115,000/year - $130,000/year

This position requires a degree in Chemical or Biochemical Engineering. It also requires a minimum of 4 years of post-graduate process engineering experience in a manufacturing environment but open to operating companies or consulting firms. Must have experience putting together process packages for large capital projects. The ideal candidate will also have experience investigating/developing new technologies and knowledge of modeling software such as Aspen Plus.
