Our client is a leading  producer of PVC, resins. chlorine, and caustic ash. They are looking to add a Principle Process Engineer at their facility just outside of Houston, TX. This engineer will be part of their corporate engineering group. 

As a Principle Process Engineer job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Support day-to-day operations and troubleshooting in the plant
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and process optimization
• Provide process engineering support to projects and special studies by leading front end loading activities 
• Participate in PHA's 
• Become subject matter expert

Salary Range: $165,000/year - $170,000/year + 15% yearly bonus

As a Process Engineer job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

• BS in Chemical Engineering, no other degrees will be considered
• 10+ years of chemical experience as a Process/Production Engineer in a chemical manufacturing facility
• Previous experience with Chlor-Alkali, PVC, CVM, and/or EDC is a huge plus
• Previous experience in caustic evaporating concentration process
• Familiarity with Aspen software is a plus
