Job Description
I am working with a chemical manufacturing company recruiting for a Procurement Manager. This position will be located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Below is an overview:
Procurement Manager – Reporting to the Director of procurement, this position will be responsible for managing a 100M spend covering directs and indirects, and the warehouse for the company. This position will also manage up to three employees. This position is on-site 5 days a week.
- Promote Strategic and Operational Guidance.
- Lead initiatives for improvement and change.
- Define category procurement strategies
- Drive Total Cost of Ownership
- Source new vendors and maintain relationships
The ideal candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- Experience in a strategic sourcing role with a manufacturing company
- Strong Leadership Skills
