R&D Chemist – Catalysts
Mid-sized specialty chemical company is looking for an experienced chemist in catalyst design and development. The person in this position will help to grow product lines in a hands-on R&D setting. Company offers excellent benefits with competitive pay; great opportunities for growth!
Reporting to the Product Development Manager, Catalysts, the R&D Chemist – Catalysts will:
- Lead technical implementation of assigned product development programs, innovation strategies, and key initiatives in alignment with Technology Leadership, Product Management, and Commercial stakeholders
- Champion a safety-first culture by driving EHS best practices throughout the organization and facility and create initiatives that reinforce best safety practices, habits, and behaviors
- Launch products, provide field support, and participate in meetings which may necessitate some travel and overnight stays

Job Requirements
Technical Qualifications:
- PhD or MS in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering preferred. Bachelor’s degree required
- At least 3-plus years of progressive experience within industrial product development or technical service
- Understanding of product development processes and applications in the indoor air, emission reduction, and catalyst coatings industries is desirable
